- The Acid Attack not only damages a person's physical look but also leaves a severe wound in his or her mental health .The face is the attacker's initial point of assault since it serves as a person's identification .
- Survivors have low Self -Esteem . Constant fear of being assaulted again . propensity to develop severe guilt . Shame and depression further exacerbates by the severity of their facial disfigurement ,Chronic Anger due to the assault ,and a permanent feeling of Helplessness.
- The Survivors also faces lengthy legal proceeding ,Delayed government compensation ,Medical Expenses , Misconduct by Society ,Difficulty in employment ,and Marriage opportunities which can be stressful and unpleasant .
